The ends to which fakers and hackers will go knows no bounds! The latest iPhone 5 spoof comes from a German Apple fan who claims he found a secret link going to an iPhone 5 test page on the Apple website. Video after the break!
The video shows an extremely elaborate fake brought down by two huge oversights!
- If you look carefully enough at the browser address bar at the start of the video you will see ‘file:///Users/Peter/Desktop/iPhone%205/Website%20Pictures/home.html‘ meaning the 'iPhone 5 test page' is actually hosted on the users computer.
- The renderings of the iPhone 5 are terrible!
A great and very well planned fake though, but more times is needed on the concept designs first!
