iPhone 5 To Get A5 Chip, iPad 2 Keeps A4 and Samsung Loses Apple!?

If we are reading the latest published by Electronics Times correctly then this seems to be the case! The report states that due to Samsung’s limited capacity the latest processor, known as the A5, will be made by Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.

The unconfirmed story goes on to say that the A5 CPU will be a multi-core unit and will be spec’d in the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5, while the iPad 2 will get an updated version of the current A4 chip rather than a whole new unit!

As the source is quite well respected in the electronics industry the news could possibly be more than just rumor.
