Leaked photos show off Xiaomi TV guts! Rumoured to support Apple Airplay!

Earlier this week we reported that Xiaomi could possibly be launching an Android based set top box which will convert your current TV in to an internet smart TV. We'll now we have further proof of the new Xiaomi device.

Sina Tech has found this photo which shows the preported Xiaomi TV stripped of it's body alongside the (smaller) Apple TV and an unknown Chinese brand Android set top box.

The leaked photo came with claims that the Android powered Xiaomi TV will support Apple's Airplay protocols along with DLNA which would allow the majority of Android devices along with Apple's iPhone, iPod and iPad's to stream video and photos to your TV!

Other details include the Xiaomi Android TV will likely cost 499 Yuan rather than 299 as we first heard, and will run MIUI 4.1 which is based on Android Jelly Bean.
