Mark Your Calendars: Google’s August 13 Event to Unveil Pixel 9 and Pixel Watch 3

Attention Pixel fans! Google just announced their annual Pixel event will be much earlier than usual this year. Normally held in October, this year's event will be on August 13th!

This year's Pixel event (Made by Google 2024) is happening at Google's main office in California (Mountain View) instead of the usual spot in New York City. This is actually a bit of a throwback, since the very first Pixel events were held in San Francisco before they moved to the East Coast.

The event itself (the keynote speech) will start at 10:00 am Pacific Time. This year, Google sent out invitations to the event 1.5 months beforehand. That's a bit longer heads-up than last year, where they only invited people a month in advance.

What Does Google Event Invitation for this Year Entails

The invitation for this year's Pixel event seems to hint that Google will be focusing on three things: artificial intelligence (AI), the Android operating system, and of course, new Pixel devices.

This year's Pixel event seems to be all about Google's latest advancements in AI (artificial intelligence), the Android operating system, and of course, new Pixel phones! Here's the scoop on what to expect:

Pixel 9: Google will likely announce the Pixel 9, their next regular Pixel phone.
Pixel 9 Pro in two sizes: Get ready for a choice! It seems there will be two sizes of the Pixel 9 Pro - a standard size and a smaller version, which would be a first for Google's top-of-the-line Pixel phones.
Possible Pixel 9 Pro Fold: There are also rumors about a foldable Pixel phone called the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This would be a whole new design for Pixel phones!
