Honor X80i specs
leaked on Weibo recently showing what looks like a solid mid-range phone. The leak came from a user called "熊猫很禿然" (Panda is bald) posting from Jiangxi province using an
iQOO 15 Ultra.
Key Points:
- Honor X80i features 6.6-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution
- Powered by D7100E chipset with massive 6,250mAh battery capacity
- Rear camera system includes 108MP main sensor and 5MP secondary camera
- Supports 45W charging for reasonably quick battery replenishment
- Black Gold color option confirmed, pricing and release date unannounced
Display and Design
Screen measures 6.6 inches using OLED tech at 1.5K resolution. That's sharper than standard 1080p but not quite 2K. The display uses a flat panel instead of curved edges. Curved screens look fancy but cause accidental touches constantly, so flat makes sense for budget and mid-range devices.
Processor and Battery
D7100E chipset handles processing. That's not a flagship chip but should manage everyday tasks fine. Battery capacity hits 6,250mAh which is huge. Most phones in this category sit around 5,000mAh. The extra 1,250mAh adds serious usage time.
Charging caps at 45W. Not the fastest around but adequate for a battery this large. Getting from empty to full probably takes an hour or slightly more.
Camera Setup
Rear cameras include a 108MP main sensor paired with a 5MP secondary. The 108MP number sounds impressive but megapixels alone don't determine quality. Sensor size, lens quality, and image processing matter more.
That 5MP second camera probably handles depth sensing for portrait mode or maybe serves as a macro lens. The leak didn't specify its exact purpose.
Color and Release
"Black Gold" color option got mentioned. No other colors leaked yet.
The source used an iQOO 15 Ultra to post this, which seems random but whatever. Another commenter joked about comparing the phone to Sun Wukong's golden staff from Journey to the West mythology.
Pricing and release date weren't included in the leak. Whether this launches globally or stays China-exclusive also remains unknown. Honor often releases devices in China first then expands internationally months later if demand looks strong.
