HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Magic8 Pro across the GCC, marking a major step in the brand’s regional expansion. The launch event took place in Dubai and welcomed media, industry partners such as Etisalat by e&, content creators, and professional photographers. With this release, HONOR reinforces its focus on AI-powered imaging and much more.

The event also introduced HONOR’s new “Chase Your Light” competition to the region. The program aims to celebrate creativity and imagination, offering participants a range of high-value prizes.

Honor Magic8 Pro Reaches UAE With Exciting Features and Hardware

The ceremony opened with a keynote from Debo Zhang, General Manager of HONOR GCC. The executive highlighted HONOR’s strong growth across the GCC and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering meaningful technology to the region and meeting its demands.

According to Zhang, the HONOR Magic8 Pro represents the next stage of intelligent imaging and mobile productivity. He noted that consumers in the Middle East continue to show strong interest in advanced camera systems and smarter mobile experiences.

Flagship AI imaging, performance, and 5.5G connectivity

During the product presentation, HONOR showcased the Honor Magic8 Pro’s key features, including a live camera comparison. The device features a 200MP AI Ultra Night Telephoto camera designed to deliver clear results in long-distance and low-light situations. It also introduces an upgraded AI Ultra Night Portrait mode focused on accurate colors and balanced lighting.

HONOR also teases the Honor Magic8 Pro as the first phone in the UAE powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. The new CPU brings faster performance, better efficiency, and improved heat control. The phone carries a large 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, designed to last longer throughout the day.

Photographer and videographer Riadh Maghni spoke at the event and shared his real experience with the phone. He said the HONOR Magic8 Pro takes very clear photos at night. Thanks to its AI camera tools, anyone can take sharp and high-quality night photos with less effort.

After the presentation, guests tested the phone in a special area. The space was set up to show how the camera performs in real low-light situations.
