While many brands are jumping in the Pro Max trend, Honor is aiming at its very first Ultra flagship smartphone. According to rumors, the brand will launch its Honor Magic 8 Ultra in early 2026 as its highest flagship for the next season. The new device reportedly brings top-tier zoom cameras and a new battery that surpasses the Honor Magic 8 Pro's 7200mAh cell. That means anything above 7,200mAh could even hit the 8,000mAh mark. To make things more interesting, a new listing
confirms 120W fast-charging support.
Honor Magic 8 Ultra Coming With 120W Charging
Today, the Honor Magic 8 Ultra
was spotted in China's 3C certification agency. The device passed the certification process with the BKQ-An20 model number. It confirms the 120W fast-charging bump, which makes the experience of charging a large battery easy. As we've mentioned above, there are chances that this model brings a huge 8,000mAh battery. Honor already brought this capacity with the new
Honor 500 series, so it won't be an unexplored territory by the time the Honor Magic 8 Ultra arrives.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and More
In addition to the fast charging tech, the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station confirmed that the Honor Magic 8 Ultra will carry the
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chipset. Moreover, it wil come with satellite connectivity, and an OV50R LOFIC main camera that will help it to face the likes of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
Unfortunately, the details are still scarce about this handset. We expect it to come with a large OLED screen with at least a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. Obviously, it could even bring a QHD+ display given its premium nature. Other specs will include
MagicOS 10 with a bunch of AI features to improve the experience and embrace the new trend.
There are still a couple of months before the launch of the new Honor Magic 8 Ultra series. We expect more leaks to appear as the launch gets closer.
