Huawei P9 coming to India 17th August

The P9 is Huawei's first phone made in collaboration with camera giant Leica. News is that the device will be made available in India very soon.

August 17th is when the phone is expected to see a formal launch in the country. Unfortunately though, there's no word on how much it'll cost or where it'll be available. That said, expect the phone to be available both online and offline with a price tag of around the 40,000 INR mark.

The Huawei P9 was launched a little over 2 months back with dual rear cameras, a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display, a Kirin 955 SoC, 3GB/4GB RAM, 3400mAh battery and EMUI 4.1 based on Android Marshmallow.

Huawei recently found itself in a bit of a tangle when a photo posted as one from the Huawei P9 turned out to be a DSLR picture.
