One of the most asked about and requested
smartphones of the year has finally gone
on sale in
China. The
2GB RAM,
WCDMA version of the
Huawei Honour 3C!
Huawei’s
aim with the new Honour series of
phones was to take on Xiaomi and upset sales of the popular Xiaomi Hongmi, well they certainly seem to be achieving their goal and might even be able to teach Xiaomi a lesson or two.
While Xiaomi fans had to wait almost half a year for the
WCDMA version of the Hongmi to launch last year, the
WCDMA Huawei Honour 3C has been released in just over a month! Better still the
WCDMA has arrived in the
flagship 2GB RAM variant with 8GB of internal memory.
The
Huawei Honour 3C
WCDMA model also has a 5-inch 720p
display, 1.3Ghz MT6582 quad-core processor, 8 mega-pixel F2.0 rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front and 2300mAh battery. Pricing in
China is 998 Yuan, international resellers will likely bump the price up to around $190.
