Budget DOOV D350 gets Carl Zeiss lens

Normally a Carl Zeiss lens would be reserved for more expensive flagship phones, but Chinese phone maker DOOV have added one to their cheap DOOV D350.

Costing just 998 Yuan the highlight of the DOOV D350 smartphone is obviously the Carl Zeiss lens which handles images recorded by the 5 mega-pixel rear camera.

That 5 mega-pixel camera sets the mood for the rest of the phone which includes a quad-core 1.2Ghz MT6589 processor, 4.5-inch WVGA display, 2 mega-pixel front camera, just 512mb RAM and an 1800mAh battery.

At this price we would have preferred to see a quality no name lens and updated display, processor and RAM similar to the Huawei Honour 3C which costs the same.
