Infinix has officially revealed the design of the Infinix NOTE Edge, introducing a new Silk Green color that clearly departs from the typical glossy glass or plain matte finishes commonly found in the mid-range segment. Instead of focusing purely on visual shine, the brand opted for a silk-inspired texture that emphasizes how the device feels during everyday use. Once the device becomes available, we will be able to try to determine whether this really gives a premium look or not. While the launch doesn't happen, a new set of real photos shows the device's design.
Infinix NOTE Edge - A Neat Silk Green Variant
With this Silk Green finish, the brand aims to focus in a different look that shows refinement and, at the same time, durability. According to Infinix, the back panel went through more than 200 refinement stages to reach a soft, fabric-like texture that differs from typical smartphone materials. Obviously, only time will determine the quality of this material, but as far as the images are concerned, it looks nice.
The back panel includes fine ripple detailing that responds to light depending on the angle, creating a mild reflective effect. The design avoids high-gloss finishes in favor of a more subdued appearance. According to Infinix, the surface treatment is intended to reduce fingerprints, cosmetic residue, and visible wear over time.
A Mid-range Smartphone That Plays With the Premium Segment
Design isn’t the only area where Infinix is trying to strike a balance. Despite its textured finish, the Infinix NOTE Edge keeps a slim 7.2 mm profile
while incorporating a 6,500 mAh battery. This pairing suggests an attempt to combine a thinner form factor with above-average battery capacity.
Under the hood, the device carries the
Dimensity 7100, which brings 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores. This chipset scores about 670,000 in AnTuTu, and the brand praises its support for up to 90 FPS in popular games like Honor of Kings.
The new phone wil also sport the new XOS 16. It's Infinix's new Android 16-based OS that brings the following features:
- Depth of Field Wallpaper: Automatically identifies portrait areas and enables intelligent icon avoidance.
- AI Theme Generator: One image, smart-generated theme.
- Instant Transfer with iPhone: No network needed. Transfer instantly with a simple NFC tap.
The Infinix NOTE Edge is set to launch later this month. The Full specifications, pricing, and availability details will be announced at launch. For now, you can head to
Infinix website for more information about its upcoming releases. We will be there to cover every detail once the new phone launches.
