Infinix recently stole the show at CES 2026 by
showing off its new Note 60 series. This isn't just another yearly update. It's a massive leap for phone tech, specifically because it introduces global satellite calling that works almost anywhere. While brands like Apple have used satellites for emergencies, Infinix is trying to make it a normal, everyday feature.
Key Points:
- Note 60 features global satellite calling for HD voice and two-way SMS.
- The system covers 2/3 of the Earth and requires no special registration.
- HydroFlow cooling uses ceramic pumps and a vibrating blade-less fan.
- The AI ModuVerse allows for magnetic accessories like cameras and batteries.
- The backplate uses photochromic leather that shifts colors and patterns.
No More Dead Zones
The big news is the "always-on" satellite link. You don't need to sign up for anything extra or wait for a crisis to use it. It covers about two-thirds of the planet, which is huge. Even though the data speed is just 4Kbps, the company says it's perfectly tuned for HD voice calls and texting. The phone is even smart enough to jump between regular roaming and satellites on its own. It's a real lifesaver for people who travel to remote spots where bars usually disappear.
Cooling Down With Ceramics
Phones get hot when you game or use heavy AI, but Infinix has a weirdly cool solution. The Note 60 series uses a HydroFlow liquid cooling system. Instead of a normal motor, it has dual piezoelectric ceramic pumps. They move fluid at 6.5ml per minute, which is way faster than standard setups.
But the real star is the fan. It doesn't have blades. It uses a tiny vibrating sheet—only 0.1mm thick—that pulses 25,000 times a second. This solid-state design is silent and moves heat ten times better than old-school spinning fans.
A Phone You Can Change
Infinix also showed off the AI ModuVerse. This is a magnetic system that lets you snap different tools onto the back of the phone. Need to record a high-quality video? Snap on the VlogCam module. Doing a business call? Use the translation module. There’s even a magnetic battery pack called StackPower. Even the back of the phone is dynamic. It uses photochromic leather that changes color when the light or temperature shifts.
We don't have a price yet, but the Note 60 series—including the high-end Note 60 Ultra—is clearly aiming to change the game in 2026.
