Flagship Snapdragon 801 Smartisan phone receives network license

China’s first Smartisan smartphone has received it’s network license allowing the flagship smartphone to go on sale on the mainland!

The phone is a true 2014 flagship phone from the ground up using the latest hardware available today in a phone body measuring just 7.6mm thick, Feature highlights include the 5-inch Sharp 1080 OGS display, 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 main camera, and support for 4G LTE.

From the images it also looks like the Smarisan phone will have a removable battery and will support WCDMA 3G phone networks.

The Smartisan phone will launch later today in China.
