September 2nd is the
date Meizu will unveil the
flagship MX3, but tipsters aren’t prepared to wait and are continuing to leak early
photos.
To
date we have seen
purported renders,
photos of the
alleged screen and even been given a sneak peak to Flyme
3.0 (the new version of Meizu’s custom
ROM to ship on the new phone). The above picture claims to be of all those things in one! Is this our first look at a functional
Meizu MX3?
If this is the real thing then Meizu’s
designers have gone all out to supply the phone which one of the narrowest
screen bezels to
date. It is so narrow it is only just visible in the above photo due to the ‘instragram’ style filter. We can also just make out the back-lit halo capacitive
home button.
The
leaked images don’t stop there however as this screenshot of Flyme 3.0’s setting
screen has also been posted. The
ROM is likely based on Android 4.2 and as we can see here offers a nicely tabbed menu and settings area.
