Now that the world (well,
Europe and
Hong Kong anyway) has gotten its hands on the The
Acer Liquid S2, the first
AnTuTu scores have been coming out and they look pretty impressive. The
Liquid S2 posted an AnTuTu score of 31,531 according to
GSM Insider, making it the fifth most powerful Android phone on the market, proving that it has some nice hardware behind the smartphone world's first
4k camera.
The Acer
Liquid S2, sports the Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.15GHz, a 6-inch 1920x1080 full HD screen,
2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board memory, a 3,300mAh battery and 4G LTE compatibility. If you need some extra space for your
4K videos, the
Liquid S2 supports micoSD cards up to 128GB. Those specs were high enough to get the
Liquid S2 the spot behind the Samsung
Galaxy Note 3, the Sony
Xperia Z Ultra, the Xaiomi
Mi3, and the LG
G2. That puts the
Liquid S2 far ahead of the HTC
One MAX, the Samsung
Galaxy S4 and the
Nexus 5, the most popular similarly priced phones.
The Acer
Liquid S2 launched at 4,799HKD (619USD, 452 EUR)
in Hong Kong yesterday according to
GSM Insider. That is a significantly lower price than what the device launched at in
Europe this past October where it has been retailing for around 550EUR or roughly 750USD.
