Chuwi's Ilife V5 gets an upgrade, now known as the Ilife V5S

Remember the Chuwi Ilife V5 from a few months back? Yes, the smart robot that cleans houses... even when you aren't home. The robot now has an update, and is now known as the Ilife V5S.

Chuwi are generally associated with tablet manufacture (and are quite a big deal at that), but the Ilife lineup is probably something that's emerging and demanding attention.

Coming back to the Ilife V5S, you now have the option for wet cleaning thanks to the 300ml tank that the V5S houses. The makers also claim a higher efficiency this time round, which means not only should the robotic cleaner work faster, but should also consume lesser power.

Which perhaps explains the reduction in the battery size from 2800mAh to 2600mAh.

The V5S can be used in various different modes, including (i) auto mode, (ii) 'edge clean' mode, (iii) 'spot clean' mode, and (iv) time schedule mode.
