Coolpad COOL 20 Pro With Dimensity 900 5G Released, Starting At 1599 Yuan ($251)

We have been talking about an upcoming Coolpad phone dubbed the COOL 20 Pro recently. Today, following the schedule, it was officially announced. The biggest selling point of the phone is the Dimensity 900 5G processor and the price of 1599 yuan ($251).

The Coolpad COOL 20 Pro comes in 5 color options. It adopts a right-angled frame. On the back, there is a triple-camera with a rounded rectangle in the upper left corner. The back cover is made of Baby Skin AG glass technology.

In terms of configuration, the Coolpad COOL 20 Pro features a Dimensity 900 5G processor. There is also a 6.58-inch 120Hz intelligent variable speed high-refresh rate LCD screen. The latter also supports the DCI-P3 color gamut and 2048-level dimming. It adopts a drop-type front lens.

The Coolpad COOL 20 Pro has made a lot of effort in audio. It comes with symmetrical stereo dual speakers". The 6GB+128GB costs 1799 yuan ($282). But the first batch will be available for 1599 yuan. The 8GB+128GB is priced at 2099 yuan ($330). The Starry Sky Special Edition will be announced on December 20.

At today’s event, the company also announced its return to the Chinese market. The company spokesperson said that in the past five years, Coolpad had gone from a cumulative loss of 7 billion yuan ($1.1 billion) to a positive profit. Thus, it not only filled the hole but also built a new Coolpad building. Today’s Coolpad is a brand new Coolpad.
