OPPO Announces ColorOS 17 Launch and Developer Conference for September 2026

OPPO has finaly told us a date for the official unveiling of ColorOS 17. This event will be on September 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Zhuhai during ODC26.

We've already seen some parts of the redesign through beta builds and leaks over the past few weeks, but this will be the first time OPPO will actualy give us everything we need and want to know.

ColorOS 17 wont give us just visual changes. OPPO is also making some promises about performance, they say around 35% better system fluidity, 20% faster app launches, and a 50% increase in the background apps the system can run. That is, unlike just some interface, going to be useful in everyday use, and i am very excited to see how it turns out!

Thats right, the Find X10 series might appear at the same event. If that happens, the new lineup be the first to come with ColorOS 17 pre-installed. And we might even get to know more about the Find X10 series, wich is a sweet bonus by itself.

It will run from 10:00 to 11:20 AM, and OPPO has six breakout sessions planned for the afternoon, with topics from its creator community and developers, about smart service integration, gaming technology, content partnerships, business growth tools, and health and fitness features. So its not just about ColorOS 17, but i think that and news about the Find X10 is what everyone wants to hear about, tho no doubt the rest of it will be interesting too.

After the announcement, ColorOS 17 will reach more than 130 device models across OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme.

The rollout continues the company's push toward a more unified software experience across its three brands, bringing their devices closer together under a shared platform.
