Last year, Oppo revealed its Oppo Find X8 series shortly after MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 debut. This happened last October as MediaTek managed to overcome Qualcomm and become the first to launch a new flagship chipset. This MediaTek will beat Qualcomm by one day, bringing its new Dimensity 9500 on September 22. Based on this, Oppo is already gearing up to launch its Oppo Find X9 series shortly after this launch, and the new devices will sport MediaTek's latest flagship SoC one more time. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has outlined most of the specifications of the Oppo Find X9 Pro.

Oppo Find X9 Pro Leaked Specifications

The Oppo Find X9 Pro aims to exceed its predecessor in every aspect. The device is scheduled to launch in China in October, followed by a global release, including India. It seems that despite MediaTek's early launch for the Dimensity 9500, Oppo will keep its newly established October schedule. The Pro will bring significant improvements in display, performance, and camera.

Upgraded Camera Specs

According to a new report from Smartprix (via), the Oppo Find X9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. In terms of optics, the device has a triple-camera setup. It carries a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture primary camera. The ultrawide lens also features a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor, coupled with autofocus support.
The telephoto camera seems to be the most notable change here. Oppo is reportedly combining two 50 MP telephoto modules into a single 200 MP sensor. As per the report, the Samsung HP5 sensor will offer 3x optical zoom and a 70mm focal length, making its first use in a smartphone. The device will also include a 50 MP front-facing snapper with a Samsung JN5 snapper with autofocus.

Huge 7,550 mAh Battery with 80W Charging

Following the trend of monster batteries, Oppo will also upgrade the new flagship with a 7,550 mAh battery. It will come with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. That's a notable upgrade that certainly will be praised by those who enjoy smartphones with about two days of battery life.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro will also include features like an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and a multifunction key. Software-wise, the smartphone runs ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, straight out of the box.
