Update! Thanks to everyone for pointing out my mistake! I got lost in the moment earlier forgetting the quad-core Tegra 3 CPU is technically a 5 core unit. CoolPad havent added an additional CPU as I reported earlier.

CoolPad have equipped the CoolPad HD 9960 with a 1280 x 720 resolution 4.7 inch display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera with back illuminated F2.0 aperature, 1GB RAM 16GB of built-memory and a 2000mAh battery.

If that's not enough to get you excited a Gorilla Glass display should keep the front of this phone looking great while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will ensure it keeps up to date with phones from other manufacturers and the quad-core Tegra 3 CPU along with 1GB RAM should dish out enough performance you could need.

As you would expect from a phone of this pedigree the CoolPad HD 9960 won't come cheap with reports suggesting it will cost as much as 4980 Yuan ($797).
