The Chinese market gets another mid-ranger in the form of the
HTC Desire 301e. The
device was
launched earlier today, and everything including its relatively small
screen and dual-core
processor shouts
mid-range.
Full specifications of the
device include a 4.3 inch
screen with a WVGA (800x480p) resolution, a 1GHz
dual core processor backed by 512MB of RAM, 4GB of in-built storage along with a microSD card slot for further expansion. Imaging on the
Desire 301e will be handled by a 5 mega-pixel rear and a 0.3 mega-pixel front-facing camera.
The
device will come with 3G support, and will be powered by a 1,650mAh battery. Like most other
HTC devices, the
Desire 301e too will come with the Sense 5.0 UI laid over stock
Android v4.1.
There's no word on pricing as well as availability yet, but we think
HTC will have to be aggressive with pricing if they wish to compete against the current low-cost
mid-range devices coming from
China. However, speculations suggest that the
device might be priced around the $200 mark!
