Probably the most looked forward to
Android device at the moment, the
Nexus 5, just made another
appearance on the
internet. Going by what we see this time round, the
design of the
device does in fact seem to be in agreement with the
mystery Nexus
device caught in
Google's promotional video for Android v4.4 KitKat.
What astonished us is the source of this information. The picture was uploaded by weedspeed, a member at the Macrumors forum. However, the picture was taken down in a few hours which, in a way, gives a little hint to its authenticity.
The
specs sheet of the
device too, made an
appearance in another leak earlier today. It said that the
Google Nexus 5 will come with a (no points for guessing!) 5 inch
1080p screen, Snapdragon 800 chipset along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, and of course, Android v4.4
KitKat. A 2,300mAh battery and an 8 mega-pixel rear shooter too got mentions in the
specs sheet, which hints to the
Nexus 5 being a somewhat knocked-down version of the LG G2.
Also, to round this up, we've heard of two dates when the Nexus 5 might make an official appearance - Oct 14 and Oct 31. Holding your breath while you wait for the Nexus 5 might not be the best idea!
