The MeituKiss (which we
reported on a few days ago)
launched yesterday in typical
China phone style with a
online pre-order, however a full
launch is just weeks away.
Sporting either a pink or white body and featuring dual 8 mega-pixel
cameras with built-in beautification apps, its obvious that the MeituKiss isn't aimed at the usual tech head. Chinese
phone maker Meitu have decided to follow the likes of Oppo and tap in to the lady
phone user market.
Priced at 2199 Yuan ($360) the MeituKiss is the companies
first phone, but despite the girly looks packs quite a respectable spec including
quad-core CPU, 4.5-inch gapless
IPS display (similar to that found on the Xiaomi Mi2/M2S) 8GB ROM and
SD card expansion.
The
cameras are pretty great also, both being 8 mega-pixel sensors from Sony and featuring Fujitsu ISP. If you fancy one of these then preorders are currently underway with 18,888 units on offer. A full
launch will begin on 6th June.
