The most anticipated
Chinese phone
launch of the year will kick off in Beijing tomorrow afternoon, when
Oppo launch the
Oppo Find 5. But like all greatly anticipated products secrets have crept out!
Oppo's U.S distributor recently announced on their
webpage the Oppo Find 5's specifications. Nothing was really a great surprise though as the
specs read just like the rumours we have been reporting on for the last few weeks, and it seems Oppo have still got some secrets up their sleeves.
The most recent leak appeared on
Chinese social sites on Saturday, and shows a
leaked image of what is reported to be the Oppo
Find 5 packaging.
The design follows the "5th Element" marketing which Oppo recently unveiled, and is a mysterious black box rather than the Apple-like minimalistic white boxes most manufacturers opt for. I've contact sources at Oppo about the authenticity of the image, but they are not letting anything slip just yet.
Oppo are planning to take on the best of the best with the Oppo
Find 5 and firmly have their sights set on the likes of HTC, Apple, Samsung and others. The
Find 5 is expected to cost $499 off contract and feature a quad-core qualcomm S4 CPU, 13 mepa-pixel rear camera, 2GB
RAM and a 5 inch
1920 x 1080 display.
