Pepsi are usually known for their (extra) sweetened carbonated beverage. The brand however thought it would be a good idea to make a phone (everyone was doing it), and decided to try their hand at it.
Late last year, Pepsi
put together the Pepsi P1s with an uninspiring design and an outdated processor. It's been a while and no one really has the phone so far, and it appears as though it's turned into a phone that's hard to sell.
Which is perhaps why the P1s is on
pre-order (yes, pre-order!) for less than a hundred dollars. This is including the reseller cut, so you can imagine how much Pepsi would've sold the phone for!
To remind you of its specs, it comes with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, an octa-core processor (the ancient MediaTek
MT6592), a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery. A saving grace on the P1s is the fingerprint scanner on the rear. Anyone here fancy this one?
