Ulefone has just announced their plans for updating the Ulefone Vienna system to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update is going to be available via OTA, but we will have to wait for it a little while longer.
It's refreshing to see that Ulefone honestly admitted that they are a bit behind on the schedule and the software development team is not that big. So the proper testing and tweaking is going to take some time so realistically we are going to see the Android 6.0 update in June.
But as we know already the Marshmallow update is worth the wait, because it will bring better permission management, better security, battery life optimizations providing up to 30 percent longer usage theoretically and even improving the quality of the sound output.
