Xiaomi M2 To Boast Windows and Android Operating Systems

Chinese gadget sites are speculating that the next generation Xiaomi smartphone, the M2, will sport more than just a faster CPU and better camera, and will actually be a dual boot smartphone!

The latest rumors suggest that the new Xiaomi M2 smartphone will ship with both Xiaomi's own MIUI V4 which is based on Android Ice-cream Sandwich and also the latest version of Windows Mobile, Windows 8!

The same reports go on to suggest that this dual boot Xiaomi could well retail for as little as 1999 Yuan $314, which is the current price of the Android only Xiaomi M1.

Past reports have gone as far as to claim the next generation Xiaomi will boast a 2.5Ghz CPU, 2GB RAM and a 12 mega-pixel camera, however we imagine with that specification the price will be somewhat higher!
