Zopo are entering 2013 with the
new Zopo Phablet, the rumoured quad-core ZP800 and now the glasses free
3D equipped Zopo ZP600 Libero!
Glasses free
3D phones are nothing
new for Zopo, in fact one of the first phones they ever launched, the ZP200 Shining, was a
3D model. But as times change so do people's perspectives, and the old
ZP200 is looking a little dated and in much need of a refresh.
So what Zopo have done is take the stylish looks of the
ZP500 and combined them with the latest Sharp
ASV display to make a more attractive, more powerful and still
3D smartphone.
Starting with the screen, Zopo have gone with Sharp again and opted for an
ASV 4.3-inch unit with a resolution of 960 x 540. Powering the
3D magic will be either the dual-core MT6577 1GHz CPU or it's cousin the MT6517, 1GB
RAM will come as standard and there will be 4GB of built in memory along with an
SD card reader.
The
camera's on the Zopo ZP600 Libero have been
updated and the phone will see a 2 mega-pixel front
camera while the rear will be an 8 mega-pixel unit. Hopefully this will be the same
updated camera as the one found in the
Zopo ZP950 Phablet.
There is still no
Android Jelly Bean and the battery is on the small side (1640mAh) for a
device designed for
3D multi-media playback, but we'll see just how well it lasts once we get a review model.
