When you think of knock off and clone phones you tend to think of small Chinese manufacturers no one has heard of. What you don't think of is a company like ZTE making a Samsung Galaxy S3 clone, yet that's exactly what they have done!
The ZTE N909 is a 4.5-inch quad-core Android smartphone aimed at Chinese consumers on a budget. The 9.3mm thick phone uses a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm MSM8625Q processor with 1GB RAM to power a 854 x 480 resolution display with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Being a budget phone cameras are just 0.3MP on the front and 5 meta-pixels on the rear.
The ZTE N909 costs just 990 Yuan ($159) which is around a quarter of what the Samsung Galaxy S3 would cost from a high street store in China and with 5 colours to choose from it's likely to prove to be a popular handset!
