Realme 15T Has Been Spotted in All Its Glory - New Budget Champion?

Realme seems to be gearing up to introduce a new budget smartphone with compelling specifications. The device that comes under the Realme 15T moniker was spotted recently on the Geekbench benchmark. Now, a new leak shows the smartphone in all its glory, suggesting an imminent release.

A few days ago, a Realme smartphone with model number Realme RMX5111 appeared on Geekbench. The device was already believed to come as Realme 15T. It featured the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max SoC, paired with 8 GB of RAM.

Now, the latest leak shows the smartphone in the Settings' About Page. It confirms the moniker and 8 GB of RAM. Furthermore, it reveals details about the battery capacity and cameras.

The handset will come with 128 GB of Internal Storage, but this could be only one of the available configurations. The leak also confirms a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main camera plus a 2 MP auxiliary sensor, probably for depth readings. There is also a 50 MP selfie shooter that sits on a punch-hole cutout. The phone is also confirmed with a massive 7,000 mAh battery and Realme's Trinity Performance Engine. The display settings aren't available here, but the bezels are thin in all sides. The Geekbench benchmark confirms the smartphone will run on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 running atop.

We don't know much about the device, but it's clearly oriented at the entry-level segment. The Dimensity 6400 Max is a 5G chipset with a modern 6nm manufacturing process, but an old architecture of cores. It has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.5 GHz, and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It also brings the Mali-G57 MC2. This is basically a Helio G-chipset that entered the Dimensity lineup thanks to a 5G modem. It also supports LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and 120Hz refresh rate displays. It's not the fastest chipset, but performance is decent for everyday tasks. We believe the Realme 15T will be priced aggressively, and the 7000mAh battery will be one of the main selling points.
