If there is a reason for us to praise Realme is the brand's constant wish to experiment and impress with new technologies. The company that crossed barriers of charging tech is now playing in the battery capacity territory, thanks to the use of the new Silicon-Carbon battery technology. Back in May, the company revealed a prototype smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh capacity. Now, it seems that the company is ready to push this product into the market.

Realme's Smartphone With a 10,000mAh Battery is Coming Soon

In a post on X, the Chinese maker teased a phone with a battery larger than 10,000 mAh. Realme will reveal all the details about the smartphone on August 27. As you can expect, the new smartphone will use a similar silicon-anode battery technology. Back in May, Realme presented a prototype unit of the Realme GT 7 featuring a 10,000mAh battery. As the teaser states, the device could be even larger.
The company also posted a teaser video with Realme's Vice President, Chase Xu, talking about redefining limits. However, the video does not reveal any details regarding the new smartphone.

Realme's Super Battery Phone to Be Relatively Thin

Interestingly, the smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery presented in May had only an 8.5mm thickness. This is an impressive feature considering how large the battery is, and the phone weighs only 215 grams. The new Si-C battery technology really has opened the floodgates for impressive batteries, and we are excited to see what the future has in store for us.

Realme will showcase the new phone at the upcoming 828 fan festival, which is scheduled for August 27. This event tends to be an interesting stage for new technologies. Last year, for example, the company unveiled 320W fast-charging technology, which claimed to fully charge a 4,400mAh battery in less than 5 minutes. The 10,000mAh+ phone should also include fast-charging technology.
