Motorola Edge 60 Pro Gets a Walnut Fashion Treatment in India

Motorola probably isn't the buzzier smartphone brand out there, but it certainly was one of the most important in this category. If nowadays smartphone OEMs are constantly experimenting with different designs and finishes for their smartphones, Motorola has some credit for it. Remember the days of the Motorola Moto X2 when the brand introduced various ways of customizing the device and its look? The brand basically introduced interesting looks, like the smartphone with a walnut or bamboo back cover. Several years passed, and Motorola is now paying tribute to its legacy with a new Motorola Edge 60 Pro featuring a Walnut finish. 

Today, the new color option for the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is available in India. The device initially launched in April in the Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Shadow, and Pantone Sparkling Grape colors. The latest Walnut option, as the name implies, adds a wooden-textured design.

The finish was also unveiled in China earlier this month. Since this is just a color update, the hardware specifications and features remain unchanged. 

Motorola announced through a post on X that the Walnut Finish Motorola Edge 60 Pro will go on sale starting August 25, 2025. It will be available through Flipkart and the Motorola India Website. The prices remain unchanged at INR 29,999 for the 8GB + 256 GB model, INR 32,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model, and INR 37,999 for the 16 GB + 512 GB model. The company has not shared details about any special launch offers. 

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chip with a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. It uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Android 15 and has three years of Android OS updates granted. The specs come around a 6.7-inch Quad Curved pOLED display with 1.5K resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. The camera includes a 50 MP Sony LYT700C OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10 MP telephoto snapper with 3x zoom. There is a 50 MP selfie shooter as well. It draws power from a huge 6,000 mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. 

Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, in-display fingerprint scanner, and MIL-STD810H durability certification.
