realme has
officially rolled out realme UI 7.0, its next-generation software built on
Android 16. The update focuses on cleaner visuals, smarter system AI, and small but meaningful quality-of-life tweaks that make the whole experience feel more polished and fluid.
A new look inspired by glass
The company calls it the Light Glass Design, and it shows. There’s more depth, a sense of layering, and soft transparency that reacts subtly to background colors. The new Ice Cube icons replace flat artwork with a glossier, crystal-like style, while the Misty Glass Control Center adds a frosted blur effect and improved spacing. Even the Breathing Dock at the bottom feels better organized, with smoother motion when switching between apps.
AI features that try to be useful
realme UI 7.0 introduces several AI tools that don’t just sound fancy — they might actually help. AI Notify Brief bundles your notifications into short morning and evening summaries, mixing reminders, calendar notes, and quick highlights. AI Framing Master is built into the camera to help frame shots more like a pro. And gamers get AI Gaming Coach, which watches your play patterns and adjusts settings for smoother performance or longer battery life.
In a surprise twist, realme also adds Apple ecosystem integration. You can now link your iPhone or Apple Watch to sync calls, messages, and even basic health data. It’s a smart bridge between two worlds that rarely meet.
Performance and personalization
Under the hood, the new Flux Engine claims faster app launches and 20–30% smoother scrolling. Animations look more organic, while multitasking is simpler with an improved sidebar that slides in tools without killing your workflow.
Customization is deeper, too. Flux Theme 2.0 brings large-text modes, panoramic Always-On Displays, AI depth effects for wallpapers, and playful fingerprint animations. Users can resize icons or recolor them, tweak widgets, and choose new lockscreen layouts to match their taste.
Rollout schedule
The
realme GT 8 Pro comes preloaded with UI 7.0, and devices like the
GT 7 Pro will start receiving the update in
November 2025. The rollout expands to most GT, P, and Narzo models by early 2026.
