Redmi K20 and K20 Pro users are complaining with the myriad of bugs on the Android 11 based build while Xiaomi announces end of support.

Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update for the Redmi K20 units in china. It's the last Redmi K-series smartphone to get MIUI 12.5.

Xiaomi surprisingly is rolling out a MIUI 12 Global Stable ROM for the Redmi K20 units in India and European Mi 9T units.

Xiaomi is recruiting MIUI 12 Global pilot testers in India. Owners of either the Redmi K20 or K20 Pro can sign up and test the Global firmware.

A chinese user managed to root his Redmi K20 Pro and enable a 75Hz refresh rate mode for the display. The solution is also available for global units.

In 9 months, the first flagship smartphone of Xiaomi's sub-brand, the Redmi K20, exceeded 5 million units, 50 of which are new users.

Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Redmi K20 Pro Premium in China. Users can get the Snapdragon 855+ powered smartphone for just $405 now.
