That's right, Samsung's latest foldable clamshell device is getting a special edition.

The blue color on the back “aligns with the unique style of Milano Cortina 2026.” While that may sound vague, Samsung says it represents “the combination of Samsung’s long-standing identity and the cultural resonance of Italian azure.” The company adds that the shade also reflects the spirit of unity and sportsmanship associated with the Olympic Games.
The gold metal frame “symbolizes athletes’ pursuit of excellence and podium moments, as well as the brand’s aspiration for the best.” The device also includes a clear magnetic case featuring a blue circular magnet and gold laurel leaves, described as a “motif of victory.”
On the software side, the phone includes custom Olympic-themed content. Users get exclusive wallpapers, along with a suite of apps and services meant to support athletes during Milano Cortina 2026. For instance, Galaxy Athlete Cards allow athletes to digitally exchange profiles and join interactive activities. Athlete365 provides performance and health support while delivering key competition information. Other preloaded apps include the official Olympic Games app, the IOC Hotline, and PinQuest.

Of course, foldable phones aren’t for everyone, and for some athletes, this may end up being more of a luxury souvenir than a daily device. Unfortunately, there isn't a special Galaxy Z TriFold, although we believe Samsung decided to go with the safe rather than with something that still has a lot to mature.
