Oppo is preparing to introduce a new flagship smartphone with a compact form factor. The rumored Oppo Find X9s is expected to continue the “S-tier” approach within the Find series, which typically focuses on smaller displays and a slimmer, more refined design. Unlike many compact phones, however, Oppo doesn’t appear to be cutting back on hardware. A new rumor suggests the device may feature not one, but two 200MP cameras.

If the rumors prove accurate, the Find X9s could position itself as a true camera-focused smartphone. Early claims about this dual 200MP setup first surfaced in December, and now, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has reinforced the information, stating the phone will indeed carry two 200MP sensors.

This would make it one of the very few smartphones to use such a setup. Notably, even the Oppo Find X9 Pro does not include dual 200MP cameras. More importantly, the X9s could become the first compact smartphone to adopt this configuration.

The camera system is said to include a 200MP main sensor for everyday photography and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens designed to deliver high-quality zoom performance. Completing the setup, a 50MP ultra-wide camera is also rumored, aimed at capturing wide scenes and group shots with strong detail.

6.3-inch OLED display and Dimensity 9500+

The Oppo Find X9s is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, likely with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500+ chipset.

Battery life may also be a highlight, with rumors pointing to a 7,000mAh battery or larger, alongside fast wired charging and wireless charging support. Despite the compact size, the phone is said to offer ultra-slim bezels, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the software side, the device is expected to run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box.
