Samsung is expected to launch its
next high-end true wireless earbuds, the
Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, alongside the
Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.
The Buds 4 Pro will follow the
Galaxy Buds 3
Pro from mid-2024, and a standard Buds 4 model may also appear. This rumour was
based on leaks from an internal version of
One UI 8.5.
A
Sleeker, Simpler Look
The Galaxy Buds 3 series introduced
Samsung’s stem-style earbuds with a slim, blade-like LED strip. The new Buds 4
series keeps the stem design but with some changes.
According to
Android
Authority, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, codenamed “Bach,” will move away from the
sharp triangular stem and adopt a flatter, cleaner shape. The LED strip is also
gone, giving the earbuds a more minimal and modern feel. The standard Buds 4,
known as “Handel,” will likely follow a similar style.
The leaks also point to a new charging case design. Instead
of standing upright like the older models, the earbuds will now rest flat
inside the case. This change should make them easier to store and give the case
a smoother, more comfortable feel when handling it.
Comfort,
Noise Improvements and Head Gesture Controls
The leaks reveal new ear tips designed for a better fit and
more comfort. It is expected that the buds will rest securely in the ear to block
noise and increase comfort.
Another great feature expected to come with the buds is the
addition of head gesture controls. Users will be able to control certain
functions just by nodding or shaking their heads.
This goes beyond simply
answering or rejecting calls and will work with system notifications and
alerts. With these gestures, users can handle calls, hear voice notifications,
dismiss alarms or timers, respond with “yes” or “no,” control AI assistants,
and more, all without touching their phone.
Other
Features
Other confirmed features include
360° spatial audio recording, adaptive active noise cancellation, “Find My
Phone” support, and quick pairing across phones and tablets.
The leaks show Samsung wants the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro to be
more than just great-sounding earbuds. With the new design and head gesture
controls, they should be easier and more intuitive to use daily.
