Sonny Dickson, a popular leaker, has
released prototype models of the yet-to-be-released
Samsung Galaxy S26 series,
which is now making the rounds.
These prototypes give us a hint of what to
expect, as they reveal major design changes to the flagship phones.
Three
Models on Display
The image shows three devices side
by side: the
Galaxy S26 Pro,
Galaxy S26 Edge, and
Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Each phone
gives us a glimpse of Samsung’s design direction for 2025.
Among them, the S26
Edge stands out the most thanks to a brand-new rectangular camera island.
It is far different from the Galaxy S25 Edge, which featured a simpler design with
two lenses in a small camera bump.
A
Bold New Camera Layout
If the dummy is accurate, the Galaxy
S26 Edge will bring a completely fresh look to Samsung’s premium lineup.
Interestingly, this design style is rumoured to appear on Apple’s upcoming
iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models as well.
This suggests a possible trend toward
more pronounced camera islands across flagship mobile phones.
Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Ultra are more familiar
Meanwhile, the S26 Pro and S26 Ultra
appear to keep things more familiar.
Both devices feature three vertically
stacked cameras in a compact, minimal camera island.
This design is closer to
what Samsung introduced with the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung is
keeping a consistent style for its top-end devices while giving the Edge model
a unique twist.
The official launch date for the
Galaxy S26 series hasn’t been confirmed by Samsung.
However, like the previous S series
that debuts in February, the S26 series is expected to launch in February of
next year.
Conclusion
Production moulds of different
devices are often leaked to prepare cases and other accessories for the device.
However, the final design of the phone may be a little bit different, but it will
be similar to the prototype.
The start of 2026 would see the birth of yet
another masterpiece from Samsung as the S26 series gears up to make waves in
the vast world of technology.
