Samsung has started
testing its
latest software,
One UI 8 Beta, on the
Galaxy Z Fold5 and
Galaxy Z Flip5.
According to
Tarun Vats, the beta
program is now open in South Korea.
This program gives users of these foldable phones an early
look at new features and improvements before the full release.
Early
Access in South Korea
The rollout begins in Samsung’s home
country, where
Galaxy Z Fold5 and
Z Flip5 owners can join through
the Samsung Members app.
After signing up, they can download, install, explore
the beta software, and share feedback.
This will help Samsung fix bugs and
improve performance before releasing it globally.
Security
and Performance Upgrades
One UI 8 doesn’t just come with new
features but includes the latest Android security patch for September, keeping
devices protected while testing.
Feedback received from users who got the beta version of the software is
that it has an improved overall user experience.
The company has already released
beta versions for other high-end devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z
Flip6, and the Galaxy S24 series.
Some slightly older models, like the Galaxy
S23 line and select Galaxy A phones, also received early access.
By expanding
the beta to last year’s foldables, Samsung shows its commitment to keeping
older devices up to date alongside newer ones.
Wider
Release Expected Soon
At the moment, this beta update is only available in South Korea, but it is expected to arrive in the US, the
UK, and India in the weeks to come.
The slow release is to test the
update and fix the problems before finally releasing it to the rest of the world.
The release of this software to the Samsung Galaxy
Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 by Samsung gives the flagship devices a more refined and
elegant user experience.
