Samsung One UI 7.0: A Major Overhaul Inspired by iOS 18?

The Quick Panel also gets a new look, similar to iOS 18. The icons in this panel are circular now and the user can re-arrange them. This gives users more control over their layout. The stock Gallery app icon will now have a white background with a rainbow-colored flower, similar to iOS.

With One UI 7, lock screen widgets have a new rounded shape to match the new icons. The notifications panel have a two-page design. One page will show notifications, while the other will have quick setting toggles. Users can switch between pages by swiping left or right, similar to HyperOS. This makes it easier to access essential functions.

One UI 7.0 will introduce an App Lock feature, which lets users lock specific apps for better security. It will also have a vertical app drawer, making it easier to organize and find apps.

The stock Camera app will get a major redesign. Quick settings are moving to the top of the screen when the phone is in portrait mode and to the bottom next to the camera modes. A shortcut will let users expand and view quick settings, making it easier to adjust settings on the go.
