New rollout schedule targets June completion

The updated roadmap focuses on Galaxy devices yet to receive the update. While some devices began receiving the software in late May, Samsung lists them as part of the June schedule to ensure rollout completion within the month. • Galaxy A55

  • Galaxy A54

  • Galaxy A35

One UI 7 delivers key improvements

The One UI 7 update brings Android 15 features along with Samsung’s own design and usability changes. The software includes enhanced privacy options, refined multitasking tools, and productivity upgrades that improve daily usage on both phones and tablets.
Samsung has also issued the May 2025 security patch alongside this update to strengthen device security. However, there is a battery drain issue that plagues the update and has been persistent for several weeks after its release.

One UI 8 Beta is expected soon

With One UI 7 rolling out at full speed, attention is shifting to One UI 8. Samsung is expected to open its beta program soon. A notice on the Samsung Members app suggests the process will be simpler this year, potentially allowing more users to join early testing. For now, users can check their Settings app for the One UI 7 update and install it once it becomes available.
