According to
Samsung Display, its latest
OLED screen is optimized for 5G.
Of course, the screen has nothing to do with 5G coverage, reception, or data speed, but it does have a feature that will benefit 5G phones and all other devices. A US safety certification agency shows that Samsung's new OLED screen reduces power consumption by 15%. According to Samsung Display, the average power of 5G OLED screens has dropped from 1.5W to 1.3W. This is good news for 5G devices because the display now compensate for 5G connectivity power requirements.
