Nokia Engineers Working on Android Devices?

This must be worrying news for the Symbian championing mobile phone company! A group of Nokia specialists have been hired by Vizio Inc. to design and produce a range of Android phones and tablets.

The fact that Vizio has hired Nokia engineers is of particular interest as Nokia do not (and are likely to never) make an Android device as it would disrupt momentum for its home grown Symbian platform, however according to CEO at Vizio, the Nokia engineers were hired due to their expertise with developing for Android!

There are currently 2 devices in the works at Vizio one a smart phone with a 4 inch screen and 5 mega-pixel camera and the other a tablet device currently known as the Via Tablet, which will have an 8 inch screen, 3 built in speakers and a front facing camera.
