Sony Planning To Launch 2 Tablets This Year

They might be a year behind Apple’s iPad and months behind the Motorola Xoom, but Sony are making up for their late entry in to the Android tablet market by launching not one but 2 tablets later this year.

The 2 tablets are currently in the testing stages and are named the S1 and S2.

The S1 looks much like many of the other Android tablets on the market with a 9.4 inch touch screen, but the S2 is a very unique clam shell design with two 5 inch screens.

Both tablets will run Android Honeycomb and support both 4G and 3G networks, an will be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual core chips.
