Vivo V70 FE Goes Official With 200MP Camera and Massive Battery

Vivo is back with yet another addition to its iconic V-series. The legendary smartphone series focused in camera and stylish design is back with a new iteration carrying the Vivo V70 FE moniker. After some leaks, the new variant has gone official and joins the existing Vivo V70 models. The device is now available in Indonesia, which basically means the beginning of a global journey. It's one of the most interesting devices to hit the V-series with a massive 7,000mAh battery and a dual rear camera setup led by a massive 200MP camera.

The Vivo V70 FE features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. There is also a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. The phone also offers HDR10+ support. The device has thin bezels around the screen and a centered punch-hole cutout, like most modern smartphones.

Under the hood, the Vivo V70 FE comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo SoC. A new 4nm variant of the Dimensity 7300 series with a Cortex-A78 + Cortex-A55 core architecture. The phone is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and offers plenty of AI-powered features. Vivo promises up to six years of security updates, but there is no mention of the exact number of Android OS upgrades.

One of the V70 FE's highlights is its camera department. The phone brings an impressive 200 MP primary camera with OIS and f/1.88 aperture. It also gets an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 32 MP selfie shooter.

The device draws power from a massive 7,000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. The phone also features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings, and an Aura Light LED flash on the rear. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4 and an IR Blaster.

The Vivo V70 FE is available in Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver color options. It starts at IDR 6,499,000 ($380) for the 8GB/256GB model. The 12GB/256GB costs IDR 7,199,000 ($425), and the 8GB/512GB will set you back by IDR 7,399,000 ($435).
