Vivo just made the Y600 Pro official. It goes on sale in China on May 5, starting at 2,099 yuan. The battery is the whole story — 10,200mAh semi-solid-state cell with an 80-minute full charge time and a six-year durability certification. That's not a mid-range battery. That's endurance you'd normally find in a power bank.

Everything else is competent. The battery is exceptional.

Ten Thousand Milliamp Hours — In Context

The Y600 Pro's 10,200mAh cell is one of the largest ever fitted to a mainstream smartphone. Getting it into a phone with IP68 and IP69 dual certification — not just splash resistance but full submersion and high-pressure water jet protection — is the engineering achievement worth highlighting. Most phones with oversized batteries compromise on water resistance. Vivo didn't.
The semi-solid-state chemistry matters too. Unlike conventional lithium cells, semi-solid-state batteries maintain stable performance across extreme temperatures — rated from -20°C to 40°C. That makes the Y600 Pro genuinely useful in cold climates where standard batteries drain fast.
Eighty watts gets the 10,200mAh cell from empty to full in 80 minutes. That's a fast result for the capacity involved.

Display Punches Above Its Weight

A 1.5K AMOLED at 120Hz with 10-bit color depth, P3 wide gamut, HDR10+, and 4320Hz PWM dimming is a strong display spec for a phone in this price range. The PWM dimming rate is particularly high — reducing flicker to levels well below what most people can perceive, making extended screen time more comfortable. Low blue light certification adds to the eye-care positioning.
The 20:9 aspect ratio suits media consumption on the large 6.83-inch panel.

The Rest of the Spec Sheet Holds Together

Dimensity 7300e on 6nm is a mid-range chip — no surprises there, and no weakness either for everyday use. UFS 3.1 storage is adequate. The 50MP rear camera with EIS covers typical photography needs without overcomplicating the hardware. NFC, infrared remote, in-display fingerprint, and stereo speakers round out a feature list that doesn't leave obvious gaps at the price.
Four colors: Floating Gold, Bright Moon Black, Vast Blue, and Starry Purple. Pre-orders open now in China.
