No, Neither the Mi 10 Ultra nor the K30 Ultra are Coming outside China!

Just yesterday, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, held a press conference where it released a couple of Xiaomi phones including the Mi 10 Ultra with a 48-megapixel camera array, 120W fast charging and the Redmi K30 Ultra with the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and more.

Considering the history of POCO India rebranding Redmi smartphones, and then launching it in India; under the POCO branding such as the case for the Redmi Note 9 Pro being rebranded as the POCO M2 Pro; the Redmi K30 being rebranded as the POCO X2; people are expecting the K30 Ultra or the Mi 10 Ultra to be launching in India; either with the POCO or Redmi branding.

According to GSMArena, who was informed by a Xiaomi representative that both the Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra are exclusive to China and are unlikely to go global. Their debut under a different sub-brand such as Poco was also ruled out.

The Redmi K30 Ultra uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1200 nits, 5 million:1 contrast ratio, and supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. In terms of refresh rate, this smartphone supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. This makes the general operation of this device smoother. The Redmi K30 Ultra boasts of a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor; which uses an ARM Cortex A77 + Mali-G77 architecture design. This octa-core CPU clocks at 2.6GHz. Also, its highly heterogeneous design APU 3.0 brings a powerful AI experience. On AnTuTu, its score exceeds 530,000.

In the camera department, the Redmi K30 Ultra comes with a front 20MP camera in the pop-up compartment. This front sensor supports AI beauty. On the rear, it uses a 64MP main camera in the quad-rear camera setup. Other sensors include a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP micro and a 2MP depth-of-field lens. This smartphone comes with a 4500 mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging.

Whereas, The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra features a 6.67-inch display; having 2340 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth and HDR10 + high dynamic range support. As for the main camera, it received the main camera sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels; two cameras with a resolution of 12 and 48 megapixels with telephoto lenses for 2x and 5x optical zoom. The wide-angle camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 SoC; up to 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 512 GB of storage memory (UFS 3.1). The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra supports 120W wired charging, which allows you to charge a 4500mAh battery from 0 to 41% in 5 minutes and fully recharge in 23 minutes. In addition, it also supports 50W wireless second charging. Also, there is support for 10W reverse wireless charging.
