This afternoon, Xiaomi held a new product launch conference in Beijing. At the beginning of the conference, the spokesperson first announced the sales of Xiaomi TV in 2018.

Li Xiaoshuang, general manager of Xiaomi TV (Air Conditioning) Department, said that in 2018, the global shipment of Xiaomi TV was 8.4 million units, an increase of 225% year-on-year, achieving the third largest sales volume in China and the top ten global shipments.

In China, Xiaomi TV was considered to be the number one in China for two consecutive quarters (2018Q4, 2019Q1). In the first quarter of 2019, 8 of the 10 best-selling TVs on the online market were Xiaomi TV models. Moreover, the 32-inch Xiaomi TV 4A, 55-inch Xiaomi TV 4X, and 40-inch Xiaomi 4C were the three best-selling models in the first quarter of 2019.

Recently, a special report was released showing the purchasing potential of Chinese customers. According to the report, 4 out of 10 chose Xiaomi as their next TV bran.

Li Xiaoshuang said that Xiaomi TV has an eye-catching performance in the online market in 2019, offering mainstream models from 32-inch to 49-55-inch, and to 65-inch large-size models. There have been Xiaomi TVs in seven sizes. So it’s not accidental Xiaomi TV has the largest market share in online sales.

At today's conference, the company officially released the new Xiaomi full-screen TV. The Xiaomi full-screen TV has four sizes of 32-inch, 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. The starting price is 1099 yuan ($163).

The Xiaomi full-screen TV adopts a comprehensive screen design. The TV screen is directly attached to the middle frame. At the same time, the Xiaomi full-screen TV comes with a Bluetooth voice remote control. In terms of performance, the Xiaomi's full-screen TV adopts a quad-core 64-bit processor with three storage combinations of 1+4GB, 1+8GB, and 2+8GB, built-in WiFi and low-power Bluetooth.

Of course, it supports PatchWall, Dolby sound and DTS sound, and 4K HDR.

In terms of price, the 32-inch version of Xiaomi full-screen TV is priced at 1099 yuan; the 43-inch is 1999 yuan ($297), the price of 55-inch is 2,999 yuan ($446), and the price of 65-inch is 3,999 yuan ($594).
