With the blaze in Shanghai still fresh in our minds, China’s state radio has reported that Beijing Fire Dept. and Sany Group are working on a new generation of fire truck to tackle high rise fires.
Currently Chinese fire trucks are in capable of extinguishing above 160 meters from ground level. Some fire departments in China have bought American made fire engines to solve the problem, but these engines are only capable of fighting fires up to a height of 300 meters.
The new Chinese fire truck is capable of tackling fires up to a height of 400 meters! and will be ready in time for the new year.
