Wickedleak Wammy Titan 2 arrives in India with 5.3-inch display and quad-core CPU

We’re not sure what the Wickedleak marketing team have been smoking but thankfully the development team have been kept off it as the Whammy Titan 2 looks like a great budget phone!

First things first! This has got to be the most ridiculousy named smartphone we have ever heard of! The Wickedleak Wammy Tian 2! It sounds as though someone randomly poked at a dictionary and intentionally spelt the words they chose incorrectly!

Gizchina News of the week

On to the phone though and it looks quite impressive! The processor is a 1.2Ghz quad-core MT6589 unit, there is 1GB RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, a 12 mega-pixel camera and 5 mega-pixel front.

The Wammy Titan 2 is scheduled to launch across India from March 29th at RS 13,990 ($269), however at that price you could get the much better spec’d UMi X2 which boasts a full HD display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 32 GB ROM and 2GB RAM!

the reason umi has delay is because the MT6589 processor has problems with 2gb ram. should be ready in april though

so 2gb ram is not supported by MT6589 , out of box, then why are they trying to exceed the chips potential and make a faulty device

It was delayed because the Chinese are adding anti-rape features to the phone. You should definitely buy it because it will keep the rapists away when you travel alone in India. Jai Hind!)
